As the result of a unique opportunity over several years, a new resource was created for BSD classrooms. The Department of English Learners has collaborated with other District personnel to provide you with a small collection of books which we hope reflect some of the multicultural/multilingual people, places, and situations experienced by families whose children attend your school. It is our hope that these books will inspire conversation among students, and lead to greater understanding and appreciation of the diversity of our community.
