The Reducing Disparities Team was funded by VT DCF to expand the capacity for the use of Restorative Practices in schools and reduce the rates of youth of color who are suspended, expelled or otherwise referred for school based discipline. In partnership with the Burlington Community Justice Center and Up for Learning, BSD has worked to engage youth and families in the process.
